Laminating Company Netherlands: Sustainable and Customised

Zwartz is your partner for technical lamination in the Netherlands. As a laminating company in the Netherlands, we combine decades of experience with modern production technology. In our Dutch production facility, we laminate various substrates such as textiles, foam, film, mesh, and nonwovens into high-quality multi-layered composites. Thanks to our broad expertise and equipment up to 2,500 mm wide, we offer customised solutions for a wide range of industries.

Industrial Laminating with Modern Technology up to 2,500 mm

Our production uses three advanced lamination systems, each designed for specific applications and material combinations. This enables us to guarantee optimal adhesion, structure, and functional properties in the final product.

Calender Lamination with Powder Application and Film Layer

Our Belt Calender provides full control over temperature, pressure, and web guidance throughout the lamination process. This method is particularly suitable for high-volume roll-to-roll applications. Using powder application and optional self-activating adhesive layers, we achieve strong and consistent bonding between different substrates. This technique is used, for example, in the production of blackout fabrics, durable shoe layers, and multi-layer nonwoven combinations. Functional and decorative films can also be easily integrated.

Hotmelt Lamination for Breathable and Flexible Applications

Our Hotmelt System is designed for ultimate production flexibility. With a combination of gravure and multi-roller technology, we can quickly switch between different materials and adhesives. We use both thermoplastic and reactive hotmelts, depending on the requirements. Dot coating allows for breathable, flexible laminates, while full lamination ensures complete coverage for barrier layers. Typical applications include breathable membranes, anti-slip textiles, or self-adhesive tapes.

Flatbed Lamination for Complex and Rigid Materials

For materials requiring high levels of pressure, temperature, and finishing precision, our Flatbed System is the ideal solution. This technology supports roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet, and sheet-to-sheet processing, up to 2,500 mm wide and 15 cm thick. Lamination parameters are precisely adjustable via a fine-tuned pressure roller and active cooling. We use this process to laminate rigid panels for the construction industry, composite recycled materials, and high-performance rubber-nonwoven combinations.

Contract Lamination and In-House Conversion

In addition to custom production, Zwartz also offers contract lamination for companies that want to process their own materials without investing in equipment or capacity. We manage the full lamination process, from small test runs to larger production volumes. With three modern systems, we can flexibly respond to changing production needs, including temporary demand peaks or development projects.

In our conversion department, we also handle cutting, winding, inspection, and packaging of laminated materials. Custom post-processing and private label options are also available. Our efficient workflow and modern equipment ensure reliable lead times, even for bespoke orders.

Technical Lamination for Diverse Sectors

Zwartz laminate solutions are used in a wide range of industries. Some common applications include:

  • Interior textiles: such as blackout fabrics and anti-slip materials for mattresses

  • Medical sector: including protective covers, braces, and functional nonwovens

  • Sports and apparel: breathable, washable laminates for shoes and sports textiles

  • Protection and safety: applications such as ballistic vests and machine insulation

  • Construction and automotive: durable panels, thermoformable interior components, and functional substrates for reactivation
